Tammy's Passions

The Heart Behind Tammy’s Tomorrow

Tammy’s Tomorrow exists because of the things Tammy loved and the way she showed up for them. Her passions weren’t abstract causes; they were deeply personal, woven into how she lived, what she supported, and where she found joy and meaning.

This page reflects the three pillars that guide our work, each rooted in something Tammy cared about deeply.

Music & Music Education

Where Joy, Discipline, and Community Meet

Music played a central role in Tammy’s life. She had a deep appreciation for orchestral performance and believed strongly in the value of music education, especially its ability to build confidence, creativity, and connection.

While attending a performance of Peter and the Wolf as a kindergartner, the conductor asked the audience if anyone aspired to play the cello. Tammy’s hand shot into the air. As an adult, when recounting this story, Tammy noted that she had never been more confident about anything else in her life. She couldn’t explain why, but she knew she was born to be a cellist.

Tammy understood that access to music can be life-changing. Through Tammy’s Tomorrow, we support organizations that make music education and performance opportunities accessible, ensuring future generations experience the same sense of wonder, discipline, and belonging that music gives those who seek it.

Animal Welfare

Every Animal Deserves Compassion

Tammy had a special place in her heart for animals, particularly those who had been abused, abandoned, or overlooked. She believed that patience, care, and understanding could change even the most difficult circumstances.

Her love for animals wasn’t just emotional; it was active. She undertook ASPCA training to be eligible to adopt her dog Ginger, who had been rescued after spending close to five years in a severe animal hoarding situation. Tammy exhibited extraordinary patience, perseverance, and love with Ginger, enabling her to experience as close to a normal and healthy life as possible over their decade together. Tammy supported organizations that protect, rehabilitate, and advocate for animals in need, and she believed deeply in second chances. This passion continues to guide our support of animal welfare and rehabilitation programs.

Outdoor Conservation & Adventure

Finding Peace in Nature

Tammy found grounding and clarity in the outdoors. Time spent in nature, especially in spaces that encouraged reflection, exploration, and stewardship, was deeply meaningful to her.

Through Tammy’s Tomorrow, we support outdoor conservation and environmental programs that protect natural spaces and expand access to meaningful outdoor experiences. Preserving these environments ensures that others can find the same sense of peace, connection, and renewal that Tammy did.

Guiding Our Work Forward

These passions are more than causes, they are the compass for everything Tammy’s Tomorrow does. Each partnership we form and each organization we support is evaluated through the lens of what mattered most to Tammy.

By honoring her passions, we ensure her legacy continues not only in memory, but in meaningful action today, tomorrow, and beyond.
